Who receives messages

Only drivers working with Elgin Trucking LLC who opt in. We do not send marketing messages, and we do not text customers or the public.

How drivers opt in

A driver signs in to the Elgin Trucking employee portal, enters their mobile number under Text message alerts, and checks a box next to the following statement before saving:

I agree to receive text messages from Elgin Trucking LLC at the mobile number above about loads assigned to me, including load assignments, cancellations and deliveries. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent is not a condition of employment.

Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of employment or of working with Elgin Trucking. Drivers can see all of the same information in the portal without text messages.

Messages you will receive

Only these three kinds of messages about your own loads:

• Load assignedElgin Trucking: Load #4 assigned to you. Pickup 10/05 06:45 CT, Belvidere, IL to Matteson, IL. Details in your portal. Reply STOP to opt out.
• Load cancelledElgin Trucking: Load #4 (Belvidere, IL to Matteson, IL) has been cancelled. Questions? Call dispatch at (773) 992-0850. Reply STOP to opt out.
• Load deliveredElgin Trucking: Load #4 is marked delivered on 10/05/2026. Thank you! It will appear on your weekly statement. Reply STOP to opt out.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with the number of loads assigned to you, typically a few messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Stop or get help

• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again.
• Reply HELP for help, or call us at (708) 846 7615.
• You can also turn text alerts on or off at any time under Text message alerts in the portal.

Other terms

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy; no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
